Artem Kim's Laboratory and Mark Weil's Ilkhom Theatre present:
"Tomorrow"—a play by Nikita Makarenko with music by Ashot Danielyan.
What will happen tomorrow? An atmosphere of anxiety and uncertainty has engulfed the world. Uncertainty about the future is an oppressive melody that resonates equally with residents of Tashkent, Moscow, Chicago, and Taipei.
Tomorrow, what you fear will happen.
The play's protagonist, the "little man," also feels the anxiety of "tomorrow." The classic theme of Gogol's "The Overcoat" will resonate once again on the Ilkhom stage. What must you do to be considered by the "big guys"? How far will you go to overcome resentment and humiliation?
From 2016 to 2018, Artem Kim's laboratory staged the successful plays "Airport," "Heart of a Dog," and "Symphony" at the Ilkhom Theater. The creators have been working on their new project, "Tomorrow," for the past two years.
The project was supported by KNAUF and private patrons. Individual Entrepreneur LLC "KNAUF GIPS BUKHARA" is an official friend and partner of the Ilkhom Theater.
Special thanks to Hope Art Studio for their support.
The performance runs for 1 hour and 50 minutes.
Latecomers will not be admitted to the auditorium; please arrive early.
